Life is Contagious

I have not written in a while because I honestly tried to wiithdraw from life. I wanted to become absent from roll call and if I could I would have stopped time.

Was I depressed? Not at all. I was trying to catch up to my spirit. We all have a part of ourselves that is already at the point where we woould like to be in life. You see yourself becoming a success in the career of your choice, involved with the partner of your greatest desires, or standing in the backyard of your dream house.

We all see it. All of us have these thoughts. Well mine was running and trying to pull me along while my feet were dragging behind me as if I was a 3/4 year old child.

I wanted to be absent from life so I could become one with that person again. So instead of me being pulled, we could walk hand in hand.

I figured out that life is contagious. In fact, its hard to ignore life. Now I am not speaking of the bad things that happen or the everyday mundane things that happen to us. I am speaking about the life that is calling to us to continue on a journey that may seem difficult but in the end has its rewards. I am speaking about the life that is waiting for us and each time we accomplish something, life shows us another thing to capture, to create, or to realize.

Forest Gump was right, life IS like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get.

Cheers to Life, for it is contagious.
